Press Release Body = AntiquesYes.com will take Internet antiques auctions to a new
level in 2007 by presenting a number of first ever events and by introducing a new
and innovative online auction lot concept.

AntiquesYes.com is already known as the premier site for producing highly specialized and focused events for buyers and sellers of antique hardware, antique tiles, and Scalamandre artifacts. Beginning in January 2007, AntiquesYes.com will expand their auction services with new specialty categories of "Architectural Antiques" and "Restoration Catalogs and Reference Books". They will also make auction history with the innovative auction lot concept called "Big Lots", which will make online auctions more exciting and rewarding for both sellers and buyers.

The first 2007 AntiquesYes.com auction opens for bidding on January 27th and
features antique builder's hardware. But rather than the normal format of selling 100 lots, each with one, or perhaps a few pieces, there will only be 10 lots, with every lot containing multiple pieces, and in some cases as many as 50 items being sold for a single high bid.

This "Big Lots" antique hardware auction will include everything from doorknobs to door bells and from hinges to window sash locks. Every piece will be selected for quality and collector interest. There will be pieces from Corbin, Russell & Erwin and Mallory Wheeler, A. G. Newman and other important antique hardware manufacturers. If you are a hardware collector or restorationist looking for hinges, door plates, bin pulls, knobs, shutter hardware, or keyhole escutcheons-and enjoy American decorative arts from the Neo-grec, Aesthetic, Neo-classical and Arts & Crafts eras-this sale is for you.

In February, AntiquesYes.com will present an auction of antique architectural
elements that represent the artistry and ingenuity of America's 19th Century building trades. Up for auction will be choice panels of leaded, etched, and wheel cut glass, an assortment of Addison glass tiles, cast cement and carved marble garden urns and statuary, large and small cast iron gates, a selection of vintage plumbing for kitchens and baths, and possibly a 10' long wooden butcher's rack with hand-made iron hooks. Shipping service will be available for larger, mansion quality items.

In March, AntiquesYes.com will present an on line auction of vintage trade catalogs
and restoration publications. More than 150 lots will feature books by 19th Century
architects and designers as well as original periodicals and publications from a variety of building trades. Every lot will be vetted by an internationally known book dealer / restoration expert. The sale will be tailored to old house owners, architectural and design historians, and everyone who loves America's building history.
